Are you a local small business owner looking to get the most out of your marketing efforts? In this video, I’ll show you how to view your marketing as an investment rather than expense and provide strategies to make the most of it We’ll uncover how to have increased visibility, better customer engagement, and higher returns.
Local small business owners often view marketing as an expense rather than an investment. Unfortunately, this approach can lead to wasted resources and missed opportunities, leaving you with little visibility or customer engagement and a low return on investment. Instead, by taking the time to understand your target audience, set clear goals and measure results, you can make the most of your marketing investments – leading to increased brand visibility, better customer engagement, and higher returns in the long run.
Local small businesses need to view marketing as an investment rather than an expense. Why is it important? Think about this for a moment. What is the essential thing that you want to do with expenses? Reduce them! Now, if you invest, what’s the most important thing you want to do with that? Get a return on that investment! Get more back from the investment than you put in.
Now, if you knew that you could go to the bank and hand them $5 and they would give you $10 back. Would you do it? I certainly would! I’d then give them those two $5 bills, and they would have to drag me away!
So when you view your marketing as an investment, you look for the same kind of return. You want to create a situation where you get back more from the investment than you put in.
How do you do this? Through Testing and Measuring. Trying new messages, headlines, and calls to action and measuring the testing results. Be sure when you’re testing that you always work against a baseline and change one thing at a time to know what makes the difference and what doesn’t.
At the end of this video, I recommend that small business owners leave a comment about their experiences with marketing. What they have done to get the most out of their investments? What strategies have worked and what haven’t?
You can help others in the same situation as you by leaving feedback. In addition, your comments can provide valuable insights and tips that can help someone else make the most of their marketing investment.
Thanks for watching! I’m confident that if you take these steps, you’ll be able to view your marketing as an investment rather than an expense. And by taking this approach, you’ll be able to reap the rewards with increased brand visibility, better customer engagement, and higher returns.
Good luck and happy marketing!
